This course is based on OSHA 29 CFR 1910.28 and 29 CFR 1926.451, requirements for scaffold safety in general and construction industries.  Discussions will focus on standards, training, definition and duties of the competent person, design and safety factors, terminology, inspection requirements, types of scaffolds, uses of scaffolds, ladder access, fall protection, signs, and barricades.
