Students receive instruction in the proper use of basic measurement techniques and measurement equipment.  Equipments such as micrometers, calipers, surface gages, thickness gages, and thread gages will be covered.  In addition, a detailed discussion and hands-on exercise of Rockwell Hardness Testers, Brinell Hardness Testers, and Shore Durometers will be included.
